Lakeside Golf Course named by the Marietta Times’ Readers as the Best Golf Course, is now accepting memberships for the 2012 season. There are six different types of memberships available to the public. Members receive discounts on merchandise, discounted cart fees and get to play the best conditioned public course in the Mid Ohio Valley. If you purchase a membership by February 14th, you and a guest will be invited to a Wine & Cheese tasting party at the Marietta Wine Cellars on Saturday, February 18th. Lakeside Golf Course is located in the quiet, rural setting of Beverly, Ohio, just 17 miles North of Marietta on State Route 60. Established in 1959 and designed by Jack Hart, this course offers 18 holes and 6,318 yards of championship golf. While challenging to even the most experienced golfer, this scenic par 70 golf course offers four tee positions so that golfers of all skill levels can be ensured a pleasurable round of golf. Carts with tops are available and paved cart paths run throughout the course. With 21 sand traps and over 14 water hazards, you are sure to test your skills at every hole. The fairway and tee areas feature a beautiful, well-maintained, blue rye grass and our greens, a manicured bent grass. Lakeside Golf Course is known for its flawless beauty and inspirational design.

In addition, Lakeside Golf Course offers a practice tee area and two practice putting greens. Inside the nearly 200-year-old clubhouse you will find a well-stocked pro shop and a snack bar offering sandwiches, snack foods, beverages and a variety of domestic beers. A banquet facility with indoor and outdoor seating is also available for your next event. Lakeside Golf Course also offers accommodations. Lakeside Motel is a 38-unit facility, with an outdoor swimming pool, that caters to golfers and visitors alike. We offer golf packages and large group accommodations. While visiting Lakeside Motel, guests can enjoy fishing in our private lake and over 400 acres of private hunting.
